What
a wonderful word. What a wonderful concept. Perfect peace. Perfect
rest.
Peace with God.
The
rest that our Creator offers is available through Jesus. It's ours
for the taking. It can begin right now and never end.
Those
who have placed their faith in what Jesus accomplished on the cross
and through His resurrection can cease from trying to earn their
salvation through “good works.” They no longer have to “perform”
in order to receive God's acceptance. They can enjoy how good it
is to have an intimate, healed and forgiven relationship with Creator
God right now. These people can look forward to a life of eternal
rest.
What
kind of a person would ignore this offer of peace and rest?
