“By
the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the
breath of His mouth. For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded
and it stood firm.” Ps. 33:6,9
God
spoke the universe into existence.
“Behold
I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will
not be remembered nor will they come to mind.” Isaiah 65:17
“Then
I saw a new heaven and a new earth . . . for the old order of things
has passed away.” Revelation 21:1-4
The
very same power that God used to create the universe, He uses to make
us a new creation. Nothing less than the power of God can turn us from condemned to forgiven.
