Existentialists and Reality

“The existentialist finds it extremely embarrassing that God does not exist, for there disappears with Him all possibility of finding value in an intelligible heaven. Everything is indeed permitted if God does not exist, and man is in consequence forlorn, for he cannot find anything to depend on within or without himself.”
Jean-Paul Sartre.

He couldn’t have been more correct.

According to fools:
We are come from nothing and are headed to nothing.

We have no inherent destiny

We have no inherent purpose

We have no inherent reason for our existence

As I've said before, in an atheist universe, if you say you have one unit of value and your neighbour says you have no value, your neighbour is just as correct as you and the one with the most power wins. On atheism, might and only might makes right.

We have no inherent meaning

The universe and everything in it is an accident

With no purpose comes no duty.

With no purpose comes no value

With no future comes no worth

Based on the value system of fools, humankind elevates the body and degrades the soul.

Based on the value system of fools, humankind idolises the outside while polluting the heart.
