Who Can Understand It?

The salvation of God is for those who do not deserve it. In fact, the salvation of God is for those who have done nothing to earn eternity heaven.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace.” Romans 3:23

And why is such good news put into the Bible? Because the Bible is all about God’s willingness to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves.

Before the universe was even brought into existence, our Creator had made preparation for resolving our inevitable fall. Our perfectly Holy and Just Creator came to earth to seek and save those who recognise their unrighteousness. Those, like atheists, who are self-righteous, see no need for a Saviour. They’re insulted by the very notion that they require forgiveness.

What need does a “good” person have for mercy?
Why would such a person even try to find out what justification means?

Hell is going to be filled to the brim with self-righteous people. The self-made women and men who sing, “I Did It My Way,” have no need for Jesus’ Gospel and Jesus has no intention of preaching it to them. For the same Jesus who said, “There is no one who is righteous, not even one,” also said, “I have come not for the self-righteous but for those who know they are sinners.”

Fail! You suck at mind reading. Being an atheist, I can assure you that I feel the need for forgiveness, and it goes both ways. No need for a Saviour though, you are right about that, but that's completely pointless when you consider forgiveness between individuals to be more important. I guess it explains why you ignored my question concerning you asking for forgiveness to people you hurt. You don't care about it as much as asking forgiveness to God, because in the end, God will judge you according to your beliefs, so who cares what others think. Thankfully not all Christians think like you...

    Hell is...

    Imaginary. Grow up.
