Atheists and their fear of Jesus

Have you noticed? Kinda sad actually.
Atheists can't bring themselves to say Jesus. They write Jebus.
Atheists can't bring themselves to say Christ ian. They write Xian. (They don't know that the X actually stood for Christ in the early Church).
Atheists say it's wrong for Christians to say that the reason for Christmas (December 25th) is to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Instead, atheists say, “Christmas was originally a pagan celebration of the winter solstice that Christians stole.”
Which leads to the question, Why would pagans celebrate the winter solstice on December 25th?
A few facts for future reference:
. The reason for Christmas Day (December 25th) is the celebration of Jesus' birth.
. The Winter Solstice is actually on December 21st. Strange that atheists don't know this.
. The “reason for the season” is purely commercial. Stretching the season as long as possible is to increase profits.

  1. Atheists and their fear of Jesus

Have you noticed? Kinda sad actually.

Was that a reference to what's before or after? If that's what before, it's funny because fearing Jesus is certainly not common among Atheists… but it's not impossible since, in a way, Jesus is the character that brought the concept of Hell into the picture, so yes, some Atheists still fear Jesus.

Atheists can't bring themselves to say Jesus. They write Jebus.

If the "fear" was related to this, it's even funnier, because clearly nobody is afraid of writing Jesus. I think they are stupid to write it Jebus but it's clearly used only for derision, and nothing else.

Atheists can't bring themselves to say Christ ian. They write Xian. (They don't know that the X actually stood for Christ in the early Church).

This one is a bit different, and it depends who you talk to. Personally, I only encountered 1 person complaining about Xian and it was actually a Christian. He was complaining that it was used for derision purposes, just like Jebus. However, the Atheist who was using Xian in that context was actually aware of the meaning you just wrote, and explained how it's actually a valid short way to write Christian, and that it was used by the early Church.

Atheists say it's wrong for Christians to say that the reason for Christmas (December 25th) is to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

You see that's another example of your incapacity or writing logical statements. It's not wrong for CHRISTIANS to say the reason for Christmas is the birth of Jesus. They can celebrate whatever they want. What's wrong is to pretend that it's the ONE and ONLY reason.

Instead, atheists say, “Christmas was originally a pagan celebration of the winter solstice that Christians stole.”
Which leads to the question, Why would pagans celebrate the winter solstice on December 25th?

Because it's true? Many societies have been celebrating holidays around or on the 25h, or the 21st, or around that time. Some ancestral people had realized that it's around that time that the Sun started to raise higher in the sky again, that the days started to be longer. They were celebrating it a few days AFTER the solstice because that was the confirmation that the Sun was "reborn", since it had started to go higher and higher for a couple of days… They were also obviously not as precise as we are today…

A few facts for future reference:
. The reason for Christmas Day (December 25th) is the celebration of Jesus' birth.

Ya but there are bery good reasons to believe that Jesus was not even born on the 25h. Who cares? It's just a moment to celebrate his birth…

The Winter Solstice is actually on December 21st. Strange that atheists don't know this.

Strange that you are stupid enough to think that others don't know.
The “reason for the season” is purely commercial. Stretching the season as long as possible is to increase profits.

    Yes, that agree with!
