Store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven
where moth and rust cannot destroy and thieves cannot break in and steal

Thank you Lord Jesus

We give thanks to You, Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who always was, for now You have assumed Your great power and have begun to reign.

The nations were filled with wrath toward You, but now the time of Your wrath has come.

It is time to judge the dead and reward Your servants the prophets, as well as Your holy people, and all who fear Your name, from the least to the greatest.

It is time to destroy all who have caused destruction upon the earth.

Revelation 11:17,18

  1. Really? That's the best quote you could find for Christmas?

Anyway, I was coming here to wish you a Merry Christmas, even though I am a bit late, to you, your wife and all your kids that you take good care of. You mentioned recently how she was sick so I really hope she got better.

May God bless you and all the ones you love around you.

  2. You too Hugo. Not sure if you get time off from work for the holiday but I'm sure it's warmer than when you were living back here.

My wife is on the mend - thank you.

The verse had nothing to do with Christmas. I was just reading and it intrigued me. Especially the part where those who destroy the earth earn a special mention.

    Anyhow, have a good one.

  3. Glad to hear your wife is getting better!

I was actually freezing for Christmas since I went back to QC for a few days. Now at airport, going to India, looking forward to the 20+ weather :-) So yes I did get some days off and I am really happy about it!

    Take care

  4. India? Wow, that sound like a LONG ride. Has your wife (future) ever lived there?

  5. Oh, I wanted to say, I just finished a book, "The Far Pavilions," Epic on several levels. Historical fiction based in British colonial India.

  6. Yep very long. Now in Qatar after a 12h flight. Waiting for the 2nd one, "just" 4 more to be in Kolkata. Going back to SF will be even longer, needing a 3rd flight... At least they have free wifi here so I just spoke with my fiancee who is there already. And yes she actually grew up in India, she moved to North America for college and some guy from QC gave her good reasons to stick around ;-)

I should look for that book you just read!
