Protect my children from harm.
That’s all I’ve wanted to do.
That what I’m supposed to do.
It’s my job as a parent.
But I can’t.
I can’t plug all the holes.
Evil comes from too many directions.
Parenting is by far the most difficult thing that I've ever tried to do.

Having raised 6 kids to adulthood, it is indeed a fearful task. It teaches us we are not God. If that is the only lesson we learn, we are one step ahead of Adam and Eve who fell for the lie that we can be like God...
