If God is our Creator, it is highly probable that we were created for a purpose. And since we are responsive, relational beings, it may also be presumed that one of God’s purposes for creating us is for relationship with Himself.
In order to have this relationship He would have to reveal Himself, or make Himself known to us. Paul tells us in Romans that Creation itself is one aspect of this revelation from God to us, about Himself.
Further, as we seem to intuit, that God is a God of love, then the likelihood of Him revealing Himself to us becomes all the more probable; in fact it becomes overwhelmingly probable.
