Atheists Furious At Yet Another Exclusion

Protests are popping up across the United States this weekend by atheists who are furious that they were not invited to speak at the National Day of Prayer.

David Silverman, “Once again atheists are being treated like we're second class citizens.”

Returning from a book signing tour for her tome “Casual Sex Without the Slightest Bit of Guilt,” Greta Xtina, seeing misogyny at work in the atheist exclusion opined, “Being a Keynote Speaker at a World Day of Prayer breakfast would have shown the nation that we atheists deserve to be recognized and deferred to where ever we go. The only thing stopping this from happening are hetero white male fundamentalist evangelical Christians who are clearly misogynist homophobics.”

In an interview from his home and speaking under condition of anonymity, Al Stephanelli promised, “We atheists are going to attack any and every Cheerleader who dares to pray in any school in this nation. And we're going to attack them every day for the next 365 days until by this time next year Christian leaders will just naturally beg atheists to address World Day of Prayer meetings.” Al's wife was heard clapping in the kitchen. 

Atheist David Silverman and Sex

David Silverman is of course a hard-core atheist relativist. No concept of objective morality enters his life. Or so he claims. He may be right. Here's an example. What do you think?

Let's say David had spent the morning making sure that some cheerleaders at a small rural school stopped praying to God. This kind of thing really gets atheists jacked up and David was ready to go at them all day long. In fact David had told his wife that he wouldn't be home till late. Surprisingly the young girls were easily intimidated and said they'd quit praying as of that moment. David gave a shrug of success and headed home – early.

He came in the front door of his home and was about to say, “Honey, I'm home,” when he heard some noises from upstairs. It sounded like his wife was in physical trouble. She was moaning, and gasping for breath. He ran up the stairs, two at a time. When David got to the bedroom door there was his wife humping their best friend. The noises she was making were not from physical distress but from extreme pleasure.

“What the hell are you doing?” screamed Silverman.

Panting and turning to look back over her shoulder, David's wife said, “What am I doing? What does it look like I'm doing?” She gave a grin at her bedroom partner and shuddered with remembered pleasure.

“Get out” Silverman yelled at their so-called friend. “If I ever catch you with my wife again I'll kill you!”

“What is wrong with you?” David's wife asks. “We're having some fun. Besides, what are you doing coming home in the middle of the afternoon?”

Ignoring her question, David fumed, “This is so not okay.”

“According to who?”

“According to me, you stupid bitch. Not only are you screwing around with who knows how many men, but you lied to me. When we got married you told me that being faithful was important to you.”

“It was. I guess I changed my mind.”

Silverman reiterated, “You lied to me. How can I ever trust you again?”

“Looks like you can't, I guess. You're not going to tell me that's wrong, are you?”

“It is wrong. Screwing around on your partner is wrong!”

“According to who?”

“According to me. How dense can you be?”

“Well, according to me, it isn't wrong. What makes your opinion any better than my opinion?”

“Society says it's wrong.”

“What society? Lot's of people have open marriages. I guess I belong to a group that thinks it okay to explore my sexuality when I want, where I want and with whomever I want. Have you ever considered that maybe it's your prudish morality that's wrong? Listen to Greta Xtina. She'd agree with me. And your friend Dawkins says that it's abusive to expect husbands and wives to remain monogamous. And isn't it you who says that nothing is right or wrong? Just a couple days ago in Boston you said, “Sometimes life sucks. We need to accept that and support each other when it happens.” Isn't that exactly what you said to those at the atheist memorial service? Sometimes life sucks and I guess that for you, this is one of those times. Relax David. Hey, I could use one more orgasm. You up for it?”

Do you think that's how the hard-core relativist David Silverman would handle this situation? Or does he, like all other atheists, say morality is relative but actually live as though it's objective? 

David Silverman Rips a Page

Atheist leader David Silverman seems to not care that his tactics and those of his fanatical followers are blatantly copying the very tactics of Stalin, Trotsky and Lenin. The attempts of American Atheists to rid the West of Christianity are like watching a blow by blow accounting of atheist Russia hardly a generation ago. Silverman and Greta Xtina and company are using the same language, working towards that same dreams, and appealing to the same type of people as Russian atheists did in the 20th century.

For example Russian atheist leaders:

. Attempted to create a society that was the opposite of a faith in God. Rather it was a faith in Human ability. Ring a bell Hugo?

. Told children and adults that what science couldn't explain didn't need explaining.

. Schools were totally secularized. Religious teaching of any kind was forbidden.

. Outlawed any teaching of Christianity to children under 18 – not in the school, not in Church, not in the home, not anywhere. It was considered abusive.

. Taught children that science can do what God cannot

. Held conferences where the key topic was how to combat religion.

. Launched advertising campaigns of anti-religious propaganda

. Established “Unions of the godless”

. Mocked Christmas and Easter as having been stolen from pagan holidays

. Changed “Christian” holidays into secular holidays

. Put mocking images and cartoons of Jesus in News Papers

. Provoked Church Leaders in the hopes that they would in some way retaliate.

. Made a concerted effort to erase any belief in a supernatural interpretation of life.

. Brought about reforms that decreed that the word “God” must in the future be spelled with a lower case “g”.

. The sale of Christmas trees was strictly forbidden. This is and has been a common theme of atheist dictators everywhere they have existed. Just as Silverman and atheists in the United States are using the Red Cross and Boy Scouts of America as excuses to do the same.

. Changed the Christmas celebration to a wholly secular celebration

. Prayer in all public places and by all public officials was outlawed

. Christianity was to be reduced to a private and secret matter.

. To preserve atheist authority, childhood indoctrination was of utmost importance to Silverman – er, I mean to the Stalin, Trotsky and Lenin atheists.

. Churches could not use their property for any purposes but religious. They could not give charity to outsiders. If there had been a highschool football team eating a pre game meal in a Church, Russian atheists would have stopped it.

. Religious symbols were banned from public buildings.

. Religious processions and open-air services were banned.

. Private religious schools and all public funding of private religious schools was ended.

. Teachers were instructed to teach children that God and Christ were equivalent to mythological figures, ghosts and fairies.

. People should be told that Churches were hoarding wealth instead of giving it to the poor.

. Russian atheist leaders never relented in trying to drive the very idea of God out of the public's mind.

. They never relented to implementing and wholly materialist, scientistic consciousness in the minds of society.

. They knew that if they could control the schools and youth movements, they could get rid of unwanted beliefs in a generation or two.

. Atheist leaders taught that those who refused to allow the morals and faith of their children to be undermined were actually abusing the minds of their children.

Sound familiar? Will atheists in North America follow their leaders like sheeple into another atheist social experiment?

And as Greta xtina says, “We’re working towards a world where it (religion) no longer exists.”

The self-delusion that the progress of man-kind simply needs to have the right leader to bring about a utopia on earth, an atheist driven utopia on earth, continues to this day. There is plenty of evidence to suggest that a human created utopia will never happen. 
Jesus the Christ and His message stands firmly in the road of the atheist wish-fulfilment and THAT is what atheists cannot and will not tolerate.

Jesus came to counter our culture. He came to right our faulty thinking. He came to earth in the lowliest form to lead us home, to a home free from totalitarian rule, to a home free from the concept of might makes right.

Mind Bending Ignorance

“Most Christians are really atheists who feel trapped in their family’s religion,”

David Silverman

When you read that, does your jaw drop just a little? As you lean a little bit towards the computer screen does your brow furrow and your mind go, “What? Most Christians are atheists?” 

And this meretricious observation comes via Times Square, from a Bright who is  American atheist's Leader - representing 5% of the population. What kind of logic must less able atheist thinkers possess? 

I have no doubt that there are many, many people who are “trapped” for whatever reason in the beliefs of their parents; children of religious parents and children of atheist parents. But to label someone a Christian because h/her parents went to Church or because the parents were genuine followers of Jesus? Seriously?

As the line goes, “God does not have grandchildren.”

Silverman's line of thinking does explain one thing. It explains how atheists can say, “I used to be a Christian.”

By being a Christian, what people like Silverman mean is:

. I prayed – therefore I was a Christian.

. I got baptised – therefore I was a Christian.

. I read the Bible – therefore I was a Christian.

. I sang in the choir – therefore I was a Christian.

. I took the Sacraments – therefore I was a Christian.

. I was a Pastor / Priest – therefore I was a Christian.

. I taught Sunday School – therefore I was a Christian.

. I tried to be a good person – therefore I was a Christian

. I went to Church with my parents – therefore I was a Christian.

. I had a belief in Christian beliefs therefore I must have been a Christian.

The problem is, Jesus said that none of these things are deciding factors as to who is and who is not a follower or disciple of His, i.e. a Christian. While a follower of Jesus will do these things, doing these things do not a Christian make.

In reality, a Christian is someone who “has an intimate, healed and forgiven relationship with Jesus.

In reality we can have all of the rules and none of Jesus.

Therefore we have on the one hand people like John Loftus and Bart Erhman, who emanate, from a Spiritual perspective, a perfidious stench. It allows them to say with a straight face, “I was a Christian right up until I wasn't.” While on the other hand we have people like David Silverman, and Greta Christina who, if they realised the extent of the ignorance they spew regarding what it means to be a Christian they would hide their heads in shame.

. Being a Christian to these people has nothing to do with relationship and everything to do with behaviours.

. Being a Christian to these people has nothing to do with submission to one's Creator and everything to do with working and striving and following rules.

That's why Jesus warned, “Many will come to Me on the day of Judgement and say, “Jesus you are my Lord, and the proof is in all the things that I've done in Your name,” but I will say to them, “Get away from Me. I never knew you.””

Silverman is hell bent on attacking Christianity but he doesn't have a clue what or who defines a Christian. He and those like Him say that Christianity (the teachings of Jesus) is dangerous but He couldn't tell you one teaching of Jesus that is dangerous.

As I've said many times, “For me, to deny the existence of Jesus the Messiah would be like denying the existence of my wife or children. It can't be done.”

According to Jesus, a Christian is someone who knows Jesus and knows Him as Messiah. A follower of Jesus knows the reality of His existence to the point of acting upon what Jesus Christ taught about Himself, about life, death, sin, forgiveness and the resurrection (His and ours). 

This type of "doing" has nothing to do with guilt or shame or duty and everything to do with gratefulness and love.

Jesus taught that a follower of His is a person who is so certain in the reality of a living Christ that s/he depends upon Jesus alone for salvation. He taught that a disciple of His is someone who depends upon what Jesus calls His Word (The Bible), and upon His Spirit for guidance and strength in daily living.

Like Dawkins and ALL the other leaders in the atheist movement, while garrulous and stentorian to the extreme, they speak of things they know nothing about.

Would You Vote For Him?

Not likely. At least according to grass roots atheists in the United States. These people are gaining momentum in voicing their displeasure regarding the imperious behaviours of leaders in the North American atheist movement.

In no uncertain terms these atheist leaders demand that the good folks of the United States stop discriminating and begin electing atheists to government; atheists who could some day become President.

Yet the supercilious manner in which people like David Silverman and Al Stephanelli make these demands and the means by which they attempt to bring about the neo Stalinist utopia make even common atheists cringe at the prospect of having an atheist lead the Nation.

And who could blame them?

Ads like the current one in Times Square where in atheist-world Santa and his reindeer is NOT a myth but Jesus is, causes one to wonder whether G.K.'s depiction of atheists as “brute beasts” may be more accurate that one would hope.

Oh well, life goes on and as the proverb says, “May you live in interesting times.

Monday Night Football

I wonder how long it will take David Silverman and / or the Freedom From Religion atheist crowd to attempt to force athletes like RGIII to stop giving God credit for their athletic abilities?

It must be bad enough to have to listen to “God Bless America” during ball games, but to have super stars pointing to heaven a dozen times in every game, man, that's gotta hurt.

No, of course he didn't. Not yet. American Atheists is still perfecting its game by intimidating eight high-school cheerleaders, by bullying the pot-luck committee at a small town Church, by silencing a Valedictorian from speaking her thoughts on the biggest night of her life.

Those are the tactics of American Atheists with its lawyers and its volunteer staffers sniffing out any hint of fellow Americans exercising their freedom of belief, or from doing good to others because of their beliefs.

I was watching the utterly lifeless and totally bamboozled Detroit Tigers go down 2-0 to the S.F. Giants tonight and I wondered, 

“What must it be like for David Silverman and his ilk to listen to “God Bless America?” as it's sung every single ball game. 

I'll bet he presses the mute button. I'll bet he has to so he doesn't get diarrhoea or become faint like atheists in New York when they catch sight of two steal beams in the shape of a cross. I wonder if his fingers cramp up as tries not to press speed dial to his lawyers? 

Will he ever have the guts to take on America's Game? Or will he be like Stalin and all the other atheist bullies of the 20^th century and stick to knocking over the defenceless? 

Time will tell, I guess. In the mean time -
