Do you have friendships like that? Kinda like when you go fishing? Catch and release friendships? When the usefulness is gone, or when things get difficult, the relationship is over?
Do you love like that?
Jesus doesn’t.
Jesus doesn’t see you as you are, as much as He sees you as you could be, will be, as He will transform you into being. If only you would allow Him to take you there, your Creator will turn you into the likeness of His Son, Jesus. Not someday, but now! He begins the moment you turn your life over to Him.
If only you’d allow yourself to go where God wants to take you. What a difference it would make in your marriage and family life! Loving extravagantly opens the opportunity for that to happen.
