It's
not hard to find atheists who blame the Bible or Christianity for
people's apathy toward learning. Does that accusation hold any merit?
"Love the Lord you God with all your heart, and with all your strength and with all your soul and with all your mind."
"Love the Lord you God with all your heart, and with all your strength and with all your soul and with all your mind."
“My
people are destroyed from lack of knowledge” (Hos 4:6)
“For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her” (Prov 8:11)
“Buy the truth and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline, and understanding” (Prov 23:23)
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him” (Jam 1:5)
“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
“If
the Christian Church loses this generation, it will not be because we
didn't entertain them, but because we didn't dare them, didn't
actually challenge them to think about how they live.”
