"And
a final word to you arrogant rich: Take some lessons in lament.
You’ll need buckets for the tears when the crash comes upon you.
Your money is corrupt and your fine clothes stink. Your greedy
luxuries are a cancer in your gut, destroying your life from within.
You thought you were piling up wealth. What you’ve piled up is
judgment. All
the workers you’ve exploited and cheated cry out for judgment. The
groans of the workers you used and abused are a roar in the ears of
the Master Avenger. You’ve looted the earth and lived it up. But
all you’ll have to show for it is a fatter than usual corpse. In
fact, what you’ve done is condemn and murder perfectly good
persons, who stand there and take it."
James
5:1-5
Today,
right across the street from where you and I live:
.
25,000 children will starve to death.
. Millions of children are working in sexual slavery.
. AIDS will claim the lives of thousands of children.
. The gap between the rich and the poor is growing faster than at any other time in history.
. Our children are contracting STD’s at a rate that isn’t even matched by adults.
. People are choosing to die in numbers unequalled at any other time in history.
. Despair, loneliness, and hopelessness are rampant in all age groups.

Every year, out of the estimated 30 million slaves in the world, 2.8
million child-slaves are permanently disabled and 30,000 die from
injuries incurred during their slave labour.
That
reality of course is sickening to atheists. But not in the way you might imagine or hope. "Sure there are problems in the world but from where I sit things look pretty good."
They simply don't want to hear about it.
They simply don't want to hear about it.
“All
I hear is doom and gloom
All
is darkness in my room
Baby
take a chance
Baby
won't you dance with me
Bowing
to the rich
Worrying
about the poor
Put
my feet up on the couch
And
locking all the doors
All
I hear is doom an gloom
Baby
won't you dance with me.

ReplyDeleteThey simply don't want to hear about it.
It's funny how you are such a liar!
And for this one I cannot possibly believe that you are that stupid. What you posted here as a "quote" is a just different enough from what I wrote so that you can make it sound completely different!
Here's what I REALLY wrote, with the middle part removed to make it look close to what YOU wrote:
There are terrible things going on, sure,[...] I thus feel extremely privilege to be on the "good" side.
Does that sound like someone who does not want to hear about it?
NO.
Does that sound like someone who thinks that things look good from his angle?
NO.
What it means is that I am fully aware of the terrible things that are going on and I feel PRIVILEGED to not be affected by it. I live an awesome life and could hardly ask for anything to be better. I am truly thankful to everyone around me who made that happened and feel extremely lucky to have been born in a great family, a great country and with a perfectly functioning body.
Is your big stupid brain able to comprehend this or will you just, as usual, ignore the fact that what you wrote is a lie?
You know what happens when atheists do something good, Hugo? It's news.
ReplyDelete"Ohio atheists help feed the poor."
You know what happens when Christians do something good? Nothing. It's the norm. It's expected.
You know what happens when Christians do something wrong? It's news.
"Pastor denies hiring prostitutes."
How does that make you less of a liar?
ReplyDeleteYou prefer to change the subject to some ridiculous confirmation bias you have in your head, in order to entertain your persecution complex and bigotry against those you call Atheists.... How pathetic.

ReplyDeleteHere's one for what you call my persecution complex, Hugo. Whether it's Islam or atheism, you're too blind to see the future that is coming down on your head.
Too blind!? LOL!
ReplyDeleteThats all ur stupid brain can come up with? I expected a tad more but ok...
Jesus told them, “You have a saying that goes, ‘Red sky at night, sailor’s delight; red sky at morning, sailors take warning.’ You find it easy enough to forecast the weather — why can’t you read the signs of the times? Mt. 16:1-4
ReplyDeleteJesus said, “Take a lesson from the fig tree. From the moment you notice its buds form, the merest hint of green, you know summer’s just around the corner. So it is with you: When you see all these things, you’ll know He’s at the door. Don’t take this lightly.” Mt. 24:32-34
