Jesus
infuses His followers with an apotropaic nature. We must push through enemy lines without fear or doubt. Christianity places us on a journey from which there is no turning back. The change in us that comes when we accept that God
will make us good and that God is for us, and not against us is found in Isaiah 45:2-3.
“I
will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down
gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you the
treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you
may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by
name.”
Nothing
can stop those who wait upon the Lord.
They will renew their
strength.
They will rise up on wings like eagles.
They will run and
not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
Isaiah 61:1
Let
us move forward with boldness and confidence, allowing those
determined to go their own way, to do as they please. Instead we must grab by the hand those who struggle and search for Truth, leading them to shelter from the
storm.
