Instead
Jesus went to prepare a home for us, promising to return to bring us
to a place beyond time. Rather than leaving us as orphans, Jesus left
His Spirit to prepare us to be the kind of people who are fit to be
in that place; a people made righteous.
And
then Jesus said, “I will return to gather you together as one
family, My family. I Am with you always. I will never leave you. I
will never give up on you. And because I began the process of change
in you, I will carry it out to completion. I will never say goodbye.”
