Because of my relationship with Jesus, I have freedom to admit that I need to change, freedom to revel in the new song of righteousness, freedom from the need for power, freedom from spiritual darkness, freedom to first identify and then to have healthy, kind, generous, and loving friends. I have freedom from shame, freedom from having to have things go my way, and the freedom to trade the lessor and unstable god of self-esteem, for the glorious and solid provision of Christ-esteem.
These things were simply not mine prior to Jesus finding me and bringing me safely into His kingdom.

The description of your relationship with the divinity of Jesus is simple but profound and thus very interesting. However, by quickly reading the post before the current one, I wonder if you are not confusing a strong spiritual bound with a literal interaction with the divine?
ReplyDeleteMay God bless you, and have a nice day!
"confusing a strong spiritual bound with a literal interaction with the divine?"
ReplyDeleteAssuming you meant "bond" I would say that one day one might be stronger than the other but in reality they are inseperable. People can be spiritual without a healed and forgiven interatction with God, but there can be no healed and forgiven interaction with God without it also being a strong spiritual bond.
On the other hand, the awareness and appreciation of that bond grows with time as is the case with any healthy relationship.
What do you mean by "healed and forgiven INTERACTION with God" ?!?
ReplyDeleteThanks for correcting the typo!!!
May God bless you, and have a nice day!
Healed and forgiven are one and the same. like saying it's a bright sunny day. the interaction might be through reading His Word or talking to Him or listening for Him or seeing His presence in Creation or seeing Him in the face of a client or ?
ReplyDeletewhatever the communiation is on His part and whatever the response is on my part, it is unhindered by shame or fear because it is a healed and forgiven interaction.
