Well,
not quite.
But they can see their utopia in the distance.
Or at least
they're pretty sure it isn't a mirage.
I wasn't going to comment on
the rise of the religiously unaffiliated (atheists call them - um - atheists), but the material is just too good to ignore.
If
PEW Research had some way of dredging the truth out of the numbers
there is a good chance that the true numbers, including functional
atheists (those who live as though God doesn't exist regardless of
what they call themselves) I'd guess that the numbers would be
something like 1 in 50 people in North America are Christians as
opposed to 1 in 5 aren't.
Anyhow,
that's not the point of this Post. The point of the Post is, The
Bible, which atheists mock as being written by bronze-age goat
herders (read stupider than any atheist), predicted long ago that
there would be a HUGE falling away from Christianity. This
falling away would take place, not in isolation, but in concert with
an equally HUGE increase in atheism and simultaneous rise
in homosexuality.
Now,
if the irony of that doesn't make you smile, you simply have no sense
of humour.
