The Priest Said What?

The state of Connecticut is proposing legislation that would rescind a statute of limitations (currently 30 years) on sexual abuse. A Priest, obviously concerned about what’s been going on for many decades said:

The "legislation would undermine the mission of the Catholic Church in Connecticut threatening our parishes, our schools, and our Catholic Charities," the letter says.

The “legislation” would undermine the mission? The legislation???

Ah, me. Nothing’s been learned.
