Truth is Discovered
Atheists would have you believe that there is no such thing as truth and they expect you to believe that statement to be true.
Atheists have no problem with self-defeating statements like that because they adhere to a self-defeating, illogical, incoherent, absurd belief system.
Atheists say that we invent truth as it suits the situation. What's true today may not be true in 50 years.
Is adultery right or wrong? Eh, it depends on when you ask.
The fact is, truth is not invented. It’s discovered.
The world was “round” before anyone knew it to be true
2 + 2 = 4 before anyone knew how to describe it
Gravity and other physical laws existed before anyone knew how to explain them
Everything that begins to exist has an causal explanation of it’s beginning regardless of what anyone thinks.

Nooooo!!!!!!! 2+2 in base 3 is NOT equal to 4. 2+2=4 only in number systems that use digits up to nothing less than 4. In binary numbers, 2+2 does not even make sense. You are using you simple concept of math and are trying to extrapolate to complex situations. That just does NOT work. You are wrong, over and over again.

HYPOCRITE! You use 'begin to exist' for the universe in the same sense that we use it for anything else, but it is NOT the same. You are dishonest.
Tell me, honestly, when a new baby is born, did it 'began to exist' ?
Of course the answer, in common language, is 'YES'. However, nothing was literally created, nothing came out of nothing. The baby comes from sexual cells from the parents that grew in the mother's womb. No magic. No mystery. Just biology.
Now you want us to believe that this 'being to exist with a cause' is the same as the whole freaking universe beginning to exist. That is the worst mental gymnastic you can do in your life. It's dishonest, it's false, it's ridiculous, and it only server your own pre-conception that a 'who' must have created the universe. Did you ever notice that? No theists ever ask 'what created the universe?', you guys always ask 'who created the universe?' because fundamentalists like you, Rod, lack imagination and are incapable of even coming up with other alternatives. ReplyDeleteNot true. It took purpose to begin something that was not. Only a "Who" is purposeful. The fact that there is something instead of nothing (not a black hole / not an infinite density with mass but no space to exist in -but nothing) requires a Who.
