How’d He Do That? Special Revelation 2:

Jesus the Christ is the clearest example of God’s special revelation of Himself to us. The Bible is the next clearest form of God's revelation concerning Himself. However, Jesus and the Bible are not separate. Jesus IS the Word. While the words of the Bible were written in specific cultures, they apply to every culture. Nevertheless, the Jesus we know through salvation is the Jesus of Scripture. Conversely, the Bible can only be truly understood with the assistance of the indwelling of Jesus’ Spirit and a living faith in Jesus and His testimony regarding the Bible.
