Special Revelation:

In a different post I spoke of Jesus the Christ being the clearest example of God’s special revelation of Himself to us.

. God did not just leave us with the universe as the only evidence of Himself and His characteristics. Although we can discern much of our Creator’s qualities and characteristics from merely observing the cosmos, we have more to go on.

. God did not just leave us with the Bible and It's record of how He deals with humanity. Although the Bible uses hundreds and hundreds of terms and accounts that allow us to discern much of our Creator’s qualities and characteristics, we have more to go on.

. God Himself came to us in the form of Jesus the Christ to let us know what our Creator is like. Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen God.”

God has taken almost all of the guess-work out of knowing what our Creator is like.
