Atheists Would Do It Better

That’s what atheists think; that they could have done a better job of running the universe than their Creator. This is especially true in the area of justice. What it boils down to, however, is that atheists would have placed very little value on holiness, justice, and love. And evil?

“Eh, it’s not such a big deal,” at least not according to atheists.

Because of evil, today, 10,000 children will starve to death

Because of evil, today, millions of children are working in sexual slavery

Because of evil, today, people of various religions are killing each other and bringing the world to the brink of destruction.

Because of evil, today AID’s will claim the lives thousands of children.

Because of evil, the gap between the rich and the poor is growing faster than at any other time in history.

Because of evil, children are contracting STD’s at a rate that isn’t even matched by adults.

Because of evil, people are choosing to die in numbers unequalled at any other time in history.

Because of evil, despair, loneliness, and hopelessness are rampant in all age groups.

Because of evil, we are in danger of destroying the very planet upon which we live.

We humans cannot fix the problem because we are the part of the problem. Some people pride themselves on how accepting they are. Accepting is good but not when you’re accepting of evil. Immoral behaviour makes people dangerous - Period. Murder, stealing, adultery, drunkenness and drug addiction, bragging, violence, bitterness, envy, lying, gossip, strife, backbiters, hating others and being hated by others, insolence, pride, coveting etc. all this is the noise that people make in the absence of a life changing relationship with Jesus.

Our sinful nature is always prompting us to see what’s wrong in the world and then causing us to blame those problems on what we think “isn’t right” in other people. This human flaw shows up in: You don’t go to the right school, wear the right clothes, vote for the right political party, live in the right neighbourhood, cheer the right team, have the right number of children, eat the right kind of food, hold to the right convictions, speak the right language, adhere to the right customs, have the right colour skin, support the right cause, worship the right god(s) and on and on.

Because of evil, atheists think that they aren’t part of the problem; that they’re above it, aloof from it all. Because of evil, atheists think that evil isn’t a big deal. That is why they don't understand the boiling rage that God feels toward evil.

God says, “Evil is so horrific there is no punishment great enough to pay for inviting it into the universe (something that each and everyone of us do, practically on a daily basis). Not even an eternity of punishment comes close to doing justice for the act of ruining a perfect universe.”

Atheists think He should have done it different. Atheists think God should have destroyed evil before the founding of the universe.

. We don't understand why but rather than destroy evil, God is instead going to defeat evil.

. We don't understand how but humans are part of that plan.

. A war of cosmic proportions is taking place even as I speak. Some will die. Those who want to, will live.

God says, “You are so important to Me and My love for you is so great that:
. I will do everything possible to allow you to survive this battle and enter into My presence. Only you can stop that from happening.

. I will do everything possible to make sure that you do not need to be separated from Me for eternity. Only you can stop that from happening.

. In fact, if you go to hell, you'll have to step over My dead body to get there.

Atheists think He should have done it different.

Atheists think that a perfectly Holy God should overlook crime and only judge those who are worse than they are.

Atheists think that a perfectly loving God should not have paid a debt that we could not pay.

Atheists think that they would have done it better.

You know atheists don't believe in gods, right?
'Cos you're talking as if they did.
Destroying evil before the founding of the universe? Hey, that actually sounds like a good idea. Hadn't thought of that.

  2. Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

According the book you believe in, your god creates evil.

  4. Way to beat up that strawman, rod.

    Here's what rod thinks:
I can make up what my opponents think! Eh, lying just isn't a big deal, at least according to rod... etc...

Ya, right. That's funny! Nobody is that stupid.

I think Rod was referring to the habit of atheists to dismiss belief in God by basically stating IF there were a God, THEN He would have done things differently. Thats all.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

You wouldnt do anything so mindblowingly stupid as to sieze upon the first thing that comes to mind and fits your own personal Weltanschauung from an ancient document that your are not reading in it's original language...would you?

From Scofield's notes... "Heb. "ra" translated "sorrow," "wretchedness," "adversity," "afflictions," "calamities," but never translated sin. God created evil only in the sense that He made sorrow, wretchedness, etc., to be the sure fruits of sin."

  7. I've just been reading Robin Dugall's blog (he posted a comment here a few hours ago), and it's actually very good. (Not that I agree with it but it's very clever and well written)

I notice you used the word "Weltanschauung". We have a perfectly fine for the Weltanschauung in English: world-view.

Your blog is a perfect example of someone siezing upon the first thing that fits their own personal Weltanschauung. You cite such esteemed sources as "The Pink Swastika" and the WND. Good luck with that.

As to reading the Bible in its original language, have you learnt Hebrew and Koine Greek yet?

So you're still saying God created evil then?

  13. Remember when I said: "You know atheists don't believe in gods, right?"

And you answered: "Ya, right. That's funny! Nobody is that stupid."

Did you mean atheists actually believe in gods or that nobody is stupid enough to think atheists believe in gods?

  14. I'm pretty sure theists don't really believe in god. I mean, they say they do but I can't really believe that they are not pretending.

  15. Jill, why waste time on a guy who thinks AIDS is called "AID's"? Willful ignorance is only self-curable.
