God loved the world so much that he gave His utterly unique Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.

There is no judgement against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgement is based on this fact: God’s light (Jesus) came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light.

Anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgement.”
John 3:16 – 21,36

  1. "There is no judgement against anyone who believes in Him"
...regardless what he did. All a matter of believing in the savior.

"Anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life."
    ... again.

"Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgement"
That's Christian Monopoly: The perfect Get-out-of-Daddy's-jail card, regardless what you did.
    Icky nepotism.

  2. All a matter of believing in the savior."

What do you think that means? To believe?

When you said in the other post, "No one stands in a position of moral superiority," what did you mean?

Get out of jail Free? Steff, if you decide to go to hell, you're going to have to step over Jesus' dead body to get there. There has been an unimaginable price paid to make your forgiveness possible. There is nothing free about it.

  3. He who accepts Jesus will not be judged.
He who does not accept Jesus "remains under God’s angry judgement".

According to your theology, everybody is flawed, and sins. So, it's not fair trial, it's trial for the nonbelievers only.
In Monopoly, we call that a "get-out-of-jail card.
In politics, we call it nepotism.

  5. In a game of Monopoly, what kind of a person would pick up a "get out of jail free" card, and say, "I don't want it." and put it back?'

    1. According to Jesus' teaching (not my theology)we begin life in a broken relationship with our Creator.
    2. Everyone will be judged.
    3. Atheists will be found guilty because they have refused the offer of forgiveness that has been made to them.
    4. Christians will be found guilty but forgiven because they have accepted the offer made to them.
    5. God will rescue those who are not looking for Him, love those who hate Him, and make peace with those who are His enemies.
. The rebellious cannot complain because they are in fact guilty of rebellion.
. The saved cannot boast because they have done nothing to deserve salvation.

  7. Obviously some people, including you, think that evil is not that big a deal - that it should be allowed to plague humanity for ever.

Other people think that life is intolerable if something isn't done about evil's existence.

Those who wish to keep evil are going to be placed into one group and those who wish to be free of evil will go to another place.

    Take your pick.
