Oh dear, have you noticed the snickering happening over on atheist blogs?
Someone has played the correlation / causation game and somehow atheists have come to the conclusion that they are smarter than Christians.
Of course that’s nothing new. After all, as any atheist thinks to h/herself when in the presence of a Christian, “I’m a bright and you’re not.”
Sadly, if you as an atheist have come to that conclusion on the basis of this “study,” you may not be as bright as you think.
Here are the rankings from the table:
Left Hippocampus: Largest to Smallest [Smartest to Dumbest]
1. Other Protestants
2. Life Changing Religious Experience (recent)
3. Born-again Protestants (recent)
4. Born-again Protestants (years ago)
5. Catholic
6. No religion (that would include atheists)
7. Life Changing Religious Experience (years ago)
Right Hippocampus: Largest to Smallest [Smartest to Dumbest]
1. Other Protestants
2. Catholic
TIE 3. Born-again Protestants (years ago)
TIE 3. Life Changing Religious Experience (recent)
5. Born-again Protestants (recent)
6. No religion (that would include atheists)
7. Life Changing Religious Experience (years ago)
Folks, people with the smallest hippocampus are not Christians. The smallest hippocampus has had “life changing religious experience” — not a Christian conversion.
The second smallest has no religion. You know - like - atheists!
This goes for both the right and left hyppocampus.
Hello! Atheists, were you reading this in the dark perhaps?
Of course, who is intelligent or not intelligent should be of no concern to anyone. We see all around us that intelligence has no correlation to wisdom with very smart people doing very dumb things all the time.
The dumbest thing anyone can do, smart or not smart is to say,
“I’d rather stand in hell than kneel in heaven.”
It’s physically impossible to get dumber than that.
