The View From Here is Incredible

It is so uplifting to see the changes brought about by a healed relationship with Jesus.

I personally know men and women who were as addicted to sex as anyone has ever been to heroin. Now they are faithful partners to husbands and wives. They are people who weep for those still caught in the sex trap.

I know people who were as vile and crude and violent as was I. Now they love peace, they eschew foul talk and notice people in need while others walk on by.

I know former thieves who are now honest and hard working, former atheists who now worship their Creator, mockers who now allow their “yes” to be “yes” and their “no” to be “no.”

I know people who were dependent on having the things of the world reflect back to them their sense of value and worth. Now they know that all that is seen will pass away with hardly a notice while the most important things in life remain unseen.

You cannot bring about these marvellous changes in yourself. Yet Jesus will, if you allow Him, transform you into a trophy of grace and mercy. He who began a good work in you will, according to His promise, carry on until that transformation is complete and perfect.
